Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a concept of self-regulation where businesses make positive contributions to society or communities. CSR can include donations, voluntary work, environmentally friendly commitments, and more.
This dissertation examines social responsibility of car manufacturers and looks at whether the move towards environmentally friendly cars is anything more than a passing phase.
The research will tackle the essentials of CSR and reporting and explore the benefits and drawbacks of CSR and its reporting to businesses that engage in this activity.
The objective of this research is to find out the importance of social responsibility and social responsibility disclosure to different sectors among public listed companies.
