It can be any software application that can produce a Kanban Board or even the traditional rectangular piece of paper on which the board is drawn manually.
Chapter 6: Testing and evaluation of the laboratory programme
The above laboratory programme was evaluated with the participation of four volunteers who have knowledge on JIT manufacturing but no previous practical experience. The evaluation is measured against the categories as explained below
Involvement of the participants The participants' involvement in the programme is the first measure to understand the success of the intended communication. This not only approves that the intended course is a customer focused and preferred course but also that the contents of the training module were as per the expectations thus making it clear that the effectiveness of the course is measured in this category.
Interaction and exchange of ideas The interaction between the participants especially in terms of exchanging ideas relevant to the subject an their focus in achieving the goal of the training session is the measure of the quality of the product provided to the participants.
Achievements The final measure is the achievements of the participants at the end of the laboratory module. This is the critical measure to ensure that the effectiveness of the overall contents of the laboratory exercise and the level of understanding of the participants in achieving the targets of the training session.
Testing on the other hand is the process of identifying whether the devised approach produces the desired results or not. Testing is predominantly defined as the methods involved with the measuring of the output and ensuring whether it is the desired output for that task. This makes it clear that the testing strategy for the laboratory programme will be concise as the system involved is more analytical in nature thus minimising the technical work. The successful balancing of the time taken for the plan of actions and the production of the inventory maintenance plan using the pull strategy are the test measures for the proposed laboratory access programme.

Chapter 7: Feedback and modifications
7.1: Feedback
The feedback from the participants was mainly surrounding the application availability and the need for a template model to produce the Kanban Board.
The other feedbacks from the customers are listed below
The approach to the laboratory programme is good
The laboratory programme concept is innovative but the case details are not enough. More details in terms of the actions and process manufacturing would be useful.
A brief overview on the Kanban concept will be useful for reference
The Kanban application and the fitting of the times to perform calculations are not comprehensive.
